HERMANTOWN, Minn. – Members Cooperative CU plans to dismantle a home at a site where it plans to build a new branch, and then donate the structure and its parts to Habitat for Humanity for resale or salvage.
Some of the materials will be used by Habitat to build two homes in Duluth later this year.
Volunteers plan to begin demolishing the residence in mid-April and start construction on the new branch in May. The new branch will provide 15,000 square feet of space.
