MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Area Teachers CU announced yesterday it will award six annual scholarships of $10,000 each to high school seniors or college freshmen pursing careers in teachings. Recipients will receive up to $2,500 a year for as many as four years. High school seniors graduating in 2007 and current college freshmen who are credit union members or dependent of credit union members are eligible for the prizes.
