Mertrust CU To Close Three Branches

WICHITA, Kan. — Meritrust Credit Union said it will close three underutilized branches, and is also reviewing the status of two others.

The $700-million MCU will close the branches in NewMarket Square, Haysville and Andover branches during 2011, and said in a statement is is also reviewing consolidation of two branches in Lawrence, Kan.

Meritrust said it has partnered with the CU Service Centers' Shared Branching Network, giving Meritrust members access to more than 4,500 branches nationwide.
