DETROIT - (05/25/04) Michigan Credit Union League PresidentDave Adams said he would like to see more credit unions joiningtogether on joint marketing efforts that promote creditunions uniqueness. In remarks before the leaguesannual meeting here, Adams added that hed also like to seeefforts made to strengthen state charters so that no credit unionfeels it must convert to a mutual savings bank charter. GrandRapids, Mich.-based Lake Michigan Credit Union is currentlypursuing such a conversion.
