Michigan First CU Develops Next Generation Of Online Banking

LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich. – Michigan First CU has created its own online banking system that offers members additional features, like a financial management tool that helps members create customized monthly budgets and monitor and trend transactions.

The system was developed with software vendor Jwaala and is based in the Austin, Texas-company’s MoneyTracker system. It offers transaction alerts; personal computer deposit scanning; account-to-account transfers; financial graphing and reporting; electronic bill pay; credit score history; the ability to search past transactions; and live chat support.

The system was pilot tested by a group of members before formal launch.
