LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich.– Michigan First CU celebrated the opening of its new $20 million corporate headquarters here last week. The three-story, 60,000 square-foot building will house more than 100 employees, as well as the credit union’s seventh branch in metro Detroit. The high-tech branch will feature a full color 18-foot-high wall mural depicting the history of the 80-year-old credit union. The ne w building replaces the old headquarters of the $400 million credit union in Detroit.
