BISMARCK, N.D.-Mid-America Credit Union Association recently handed out a number of awards at its annual meeting: Capital CU received the Champion Award for its commitment to the political well-being of the cooperative movement.
Town & Country CU took home the Five Star Award, while Healthcare Plus FCU received the Growth and Progress Award. Truman Henry, a volunteer at Healthcare Plus, won the South Dakota Volunteer of the Year as well. During the summit, Melva Oak, who worked in the industry for two decades, was inducted into the association's CU Hall of Fame and Roxanne Mullenberg was named the YCUP Network's Cutting Edge Professional of the Year.
