BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - (06/02/05) -- Minnesota Item Processing Corp., aCUSO performing item processing for more than 100 credit unions,said Wednesday it has added Advanced Financial Solutions' branchcapture system, known as Direct Branch, and two image replacementdocument solutions, AFS Forward 21 and AFS Return 21, to its suiteof Check 21 image processing offerings. The AFS solutions are fullyinterfaced with MnIPC's existing AFS ImageVision check imagingplatform. AFS Direct Branch allows participating credit unions tocapture and balance deposited items, cashed checks, and payments,while electronically processing and truncating deposit slips andcash tickets, at the branch. AFS is a unit of Metavante Corp.,itself a subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp.
