Clark, 66, has headed the credit union, a conglomeration that included the University of Montana CU and Northern Pacific CU, for 18 years.

Clark, a graduate of Arizona State University and a veteran Army officer, worked for two Oregon credit unions before moving to Montana. He was named the Montana CU Network’s Credit Union Professional of the Year for 2008 and is active in Habitat for Humanity, United Way and CASA.

The credit union is conducting a nationwide search for his successor.
