CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT FCU announced Friday it has signed with its sponsor, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to provide students at the University’s Sloan School of Business with lending options through the recently created venture, Credit Union Student Choice.
Under the program, offered by about 50 credit unions, students may borrow funds at as low as 5.875%, which is comparable to rates charged for federally guaranteed student loans.
The CU Student Choice program was developed by credit unions in conjunction with Callahan & Associates.
