SAN DIEGO-San Diego County CU has introduced a new capability for its mobile technology that allows Visa card holders to transfer their credit card accounts from other financial institutions to a San Diego County CU Visa credit card.
The Easy Balance Transfer app, available for Apple iPhone and Google Android users, was developed by nearby Mitek Systems, whose technology also enables the credit union's Mobile Deposit.
Visa credit cardholders can use their online banking username and password to log into the Easy Balance Transfer App and then use the app to take a photo of the bottom payment stub from a credit card bill from another financial institution. The app will read the company's name, address and payment amount. After reviewing the card information, the member can click "submit" to process the balance transfer.
