Mountain America Offers iPod To Attract Teens

Mountain America Credit Union is holding a quarterly drawing for an Apple iPod to encourage teens to participate in its Mountain Adventurer Account program. The account is designed for teenagers who are learning how to manage their money.

Besides the quarterly drawings, the account gives teens the opportunity to open their own checking account and get a debit card (with a parent or guardian co-signer), and qualifies them for the Mountain Climber Term Deposit. The credit union rolled out its Mountain Adventurer Account, Mountain Climber Term Deposit, and the Mountain Explorer Account (for kids 12 and under) in October.
