LOUISVILLE, KY. - Park Community FCU is seeking to repossess the van of a woman who has been charged with murdering her two children.

The credit union filed the motion in U.S. Bankruptcy Court here seeking to reposess a 1999 Ford Windstar owned by Gail Lynn Coontz, 37, a widowed woman who has pleaded not guilty to murdering a 14-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter.
PCFCU said that it is unlikely Coontz, who is in jail, will be able to make payments on the van, on which she owes $5,400. Because of the notoriety of the charges, the repossession request has received some coverage in local media.
