ARLINGTON, Va. — NAFCU has appointed Alicia Nealon as director of regulatory affairs.

Nealon most recently served as the trade group's regulatory affairs counsel. She has also worked as its counsel in charge of regulatory compliance.
Before joining NAFCU in December 2013, she worked in the general counsel's office at the NCUA.
"Alicia has been extremely helpful in making sure our members' interests are well represented before NCUA, CFPB and other federal agencies having an impact on credit unions," said Carrie Hunt, NAFCU's general counsel and president of government affairs, in a statement.
