Jeanne D'Arc Expands In Mass, NH

LOWELL, Mass.-The $600-million Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union, which for 90 years has served the 17 communities surrounding the Greater Lowell area, is now open to anyone in the Massachusetts counties of Middlesex and Essex, the Massachusetts municipalities of Fitchburg, Leominster, Harvard, Lunenburg, and Lancaster, as well as the neighboring Hillsborough and Rockingham counties of New Hampshire. The credit union said that over the next five years it plans to open two to three more branches in its new FOM.

Trumark From Sponsor To Community

TREVOSE, Penn.-Meanwhile, in Trevose, Penn., the $750-million TruMark Financial CU is changing from an employer-based FOM to serve Greater Philadelphia. The credit union has been OKd to serve anyone in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery counties.

Broward Schools Now BrightStar

SUNRISE, Fla.-The $260-million Broward Schools Credit Union has changed its name to BrightStar Credit Union, following an expansion to a community charter for much of Broward County and southern Palm Beach County.

Two Houston Credit Unions In Merger

HOUSTON-First Service CU and the Houston Association of Realtors CU have been approved to merge. The credit unions will operate under the First Service name and have $175 million in combined assets and 10 branches.
