Napper Elected Chairman of CO-OP Financial Services' Board

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. -- CO-OP Financial Services announced Thursday that Jeff Napper has been elected chairman of its board of directors.

Napper is the president and chief executive officer of  $1.26 billion LBS Financial Credit Union in Westminster, Calif. He previously served as a member of the CUSO’s audit committee in 1997, and a director on its board since 2010.

Former Chairman Doug Ferraro congratulated Napper on his election. “We are confident Jeff will provide fine board leadership for the CO-OP, the largest and the very best provider of financial technology products and services for credit unions,” said Ferraro, who is president/CEO of Bellco Credit Union, a $3.6 billion institution based in Greenwood Village, Colo.

Three other credit union chief executives were also elected to positions on CO-OP’s board:

  • Allan McMorris was elected vice-chairman/chairman-elect. McMorris is president/CEO of $312 million Oakland County Credit Union in Waterford, Mich.
  • Chuck Purvis has been elected treasurer. He is president/CEO of $2.6 billion Coastal FCU based in Raleigh, N.C.
  • Benson Porter was elected secretary. Porter is president/CEO of Boeing Employees CU, a $15 billion institution in Tukwila, Wash.
