NASA FCU Flies With Mobile Deposits

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – NASA FCU launched its mobile remote deposit app, which allows its members to deposit checks anytime, anywhere, from a wireless mobile handheld device.

Currently, the app is available to iPhone and Android users.

NASA Federal said Mobile Remote Deposit expands its members’ options for depositing checks beyond its worldwide network of service centers and ATMs. Earlier this year, NASA Federal launched its remote deposit service, giving members the ability to remotely deposit checks from their PC with a scanner.

The member takes a photo of the front and back of a check and the mobile remote deposit app does the rest. A safe and secure real-time deposit is made into the member’s NASA Federal account.

Mobile Remote Deposit for smartphone devices expands NASA Federal’s mobile banking solution that also includes, MobileApp, MobileWeb and MobileText services, allowing members several ways to manage their finances on the go with a mobile device.
