VIENNA, Va. – Navy FCU said it awarded $1,000 grants to 30 nonprofit organizations on behalf of Navy Federal’s volunteers to service groups in communities served by the $44 billion credit union.
The credit union’s Dollars for Doers grant program recognizes, supports and encourages the contributions of employees’ volunteer efforts.
Among the winners are: Literacy Volunteers of America in Prince William Count, Va.; the American Red Cross; the Make A Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida; and, the Make A Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida.
