NCR Back In The Black

DULUTH, Ga. – ATM maker NCR Corp., fueled by a 6% rise in revenues, reported a $14 million net for the first quarter of 2011, compared to a $17 million loss for the same period last year.

 

Revenues for the first quarter were $1.1 billion.

 

“Our core industries generated solid order and revenue growth driven by our global market leadership in the financial services segment, strong demand for our retail self-checkout solutions and growth in services,” said Bill Nuti, CEO of NCR. “We secured improved results from our emerging industries segment as well, including new deployments and improving performance in entertainment.
