The National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) issued $296,064 in first quarter 2004 disbursements through the Community Investment Fund (CIF), bringing the total amount disbursed to states by NCUF to $1.3 million. The balance of the fund has reached more than $323 million, the NCUF reported.
At the end March 2004, the Fund received investments from six new states, bringing the total of states involved to 43. Each of the 43 states with credit union investments receives a pro rata share of the disbursement. Investors include all 31 corporate credit unions and 490 natural person credit unions.
