NCUF Urging CUs To Apply For Grant Money

MADISON, Wis.-Credit unions are being urged to apply for new Financial Education Grants from the National CU Foundation (NCUF). Deadline for applications is June 30.

The Financial Education grants are an update on the annual grant program that was formerly known as "Innovation Grants," and are designed to align more closely with the NCUF's new focus on financial education.

"Whether it's a financial reality fair for high school students or a financial counseling program we encourage you to apply," said Lois Kitsch, National Program Manager at NCUF, in a released statement. "We are looking to fund innovative programs that improve the financial capability of all Americans."

The application can be found at www.ncuf.coop/media/Innovation%20Grants/NCUF-Financial-Education-Grant_Application_Form_2012.doc, or by visiting ncuf.coop, then click the "Apply for a Grant" button or "Foundation Programs Financial Education Grants" link.
