SCRANTON, Penn. – Tobyhanna FCU on Monday announced it hired Sean Jelen, chief operating officer at New York’s Palisades FCU, as president and CEO of the $150-million credit union.
Jelen succeeds James Kanaley, who retired as CEO Jan. 3 after nine years at the helm of the one-time defense credit union, chartered as Tobyhanna Army Depot FCU.
The hiring of Jelen follows a nationwide CEO search by JMFA Executive Recruitment.
