ROCHESTER, N.Y. - (10/13/04) -- Area credit unions donated $6,400 toMicro Business New York, a micro enterprise incubator, duringMonday's PALS workshop organized by NCUA Board member Deborah Matz,to help finance seminars for credit unions on micro-enterpriselending. "This is really the wave of the future," said Sen. HillaryClinton, of efforts to expand micro-enterprise lending. "It's goingto help people live their dreams." The funds will help theincubator hold education sessions for New York credit unions on howto meet the needs of the small business entrepreneur.
