ALBANY, N.Y. – SEFCU, formerly known as State Employees FCU, said it has awarded $12,000 in college scholarships to high school seniors in conjunction with the annual New York CU League Scholarship Program for credit union members. More than 1,300 students statewide, including more than 110 SEFCU members, competed for the honors. Three SEFCU members received $1,000 statewide scholarships, and nine others received SEFCU’s own ‘Smart Sense’ $1,000 awards.
