Corporate One Selects Goldleaf
COLUMBUS, Ohio-With more than $5.1 billion in assets under management, Corporate One FCU identified the need for a new deposit automation system that focused on both distributed capture and settlement and archiving, which is why the corporate went with Goldleaf's Sierra Xpedite Deposit Automation Solution.
"We saw a lot of off-the-rack, 'one size fits all' software in our search for a remote deposit solution, but as a corporate credit union, we needed a vendor that would work with us to offer a wide array of capabilities," said Robert K. Coyan, senior vice president at Corporate One. "Goldleaf's deposit automation solution had the infrastructure and the flexibility to serve all of our credit union clients - from the very smallest to more than a billion in assets."
Goldleaf developed four different distributed capture offerings to meet each institution's requirements. The simplest version offers a hosted, turnkey product that can be implemented in less than an hour. Credit unions also have the option to house all the hardware themselves. Another choice has a direct send capability for credit unions that have already invested in their own deposit automation technology, but want to leverage Corporate One's volume.
Goldleaf's deposit automation technology processes three million items per month with an associated value of more than $2 billion for Corporate One's credit unions. The cumulative volume from almost 800 branches enables the corporate credit union to hold a high-ranking priority with the Federal Reserve Bank and major clearing houses, enhancing efficiency and preventing the need for IRDs.
