NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. – Niagara Regional FCU will break ground on its new offices Monday.
The $15 million credit union, chartered in 1939 as North Tonawanda Teachers FCU, plans to build a 4,500 square-foot structure. Estimated cost of the project is $1 million.
The credit union hopes to save $167,000 in taxes over 10 years through a property tax abatement awarded through the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
