Community service initiative: Under a weekly program called "Pay It Forward," Mountain America partners with local news station KUTV to bring attention to and raise money for people, families and organizations that could use a helping hand. To date, the credit union has donated $45,000.
Fitness/wellness program: A weeklong course, called the Fitment Infinity Class, shows employees how to combine nutrition, physical fitness and mental adjustments to lead healthier lifestyles.
Employee recognition/appreciation program: Managers can give extra paid time off to employees who have worked on special projects, or who just need a day off but may not have accrued enough time.
