RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees’ CU’s branch here has featured an array of artwork created by a unique group – students from North Carolina's Governor Morehead School for the Blind and Visually Impaired – for the past year.

The art was part of an ongoing project established by SECU in 2003, providing art teachers a forum to feature their school's programs. SECU's partnership with the Governor Morehead School, a division of North Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services, made for a natural fit as department employees are within the credit union’s field of membership.
Governor Morehead School in Raleigh was founded in 1845 and is the only residential school for blind and visually impaired students in North Carolina.
