PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Northeast CU contributed $7,500 to Homes for Our Troops to help support the building of specially adapted homes for severely wounded service members.

Homes for Our Troops raises donations of money, building materials and professional labor, and coordinates the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently for the recipient. The homes are given at no cost to the veterans.
Homes for Our Troops is planning to build 30 homes across the nation this year.
