LOWELL, Mass. – Northern Massachusetts Telephone Workers Community CU was among five area companies sharing $276,000 in workforce training grants, the Governor’s office announced this week.
The credit union received a $39,866 grant to train 111 workers in sales, customer service, and leadership and management.
Last week, Workers’ CU, in Fitchburg, received a $76,665 grant from the state to train 151 of its employees.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
