CUSN Adds Two More CUs
LAKEWOOD, Colo.–CU Service Network announced that Capitol View Credit Union and First Class Credit Union have joined shared branching as issuing credit unions. The two CUs now have access to more than 3,140 U.S. service centers.

CUNA Mutual Earns Top Rating
MADISON, Wis.–Retirement plan sponsor surveys conducted by two independent research and information organizations have again rated CUNA Mutual Group an industry leader in overall client satisfaction in the 401(k) plan marketplace, the firm announced. Among more than 80 providers, CUNA Mutual was rated the No. 1 plan administrator since 1999 in the less-than $1 million plan assets category. CUNA Mutual also was the No. 2 plan administrator in 2007 for plans in the $1 million to $10 million asset range.

CUES Parnters With Fi-linx
MADISON, Wis.–CUES has begun offering Deposit Reclassification powered by fi-linx, that it says changes the way credit unions report their transaction account balances to the Federal Reserve. “The result is a significant reduction in reserve requirements that enables credit unions to turn non-interest earning reserves into interest-earning assets,” CUES said, adding that fi-linx estimates that if every credit union were to take advantage of this program, an additional $154 million would be earned industry-wide.

Forst Kraft Signs With LEVEL5
ATLANTA–The $71-million Forest Kraft FCU, West Monroe, La., has contracted with LEVEL5 to remodel its main office and open a new facility. Construction for the credit union’s new branch facility will begin in August 2008.
