Elan Signs Up Four CU Clients

MINNEAPOLIS–Elan Financial Services has signed agreements with four new credit unions in the first quarter of 2008, adding more than $40 million in card balances to Elan’s portfolio.

Elan purchased existing portfolios from three CUs while launching a new program with one. The company said the new credit union clients operate in Alabama, California, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Jack Henry Marks 720 FI Clients

MONETT, Mo.–Jack Henry & Associates Inc. reported that its Remote Deposit Capture solution has now been selected by 720 financial institutions. The solution enables commercial customers to scan, submit and deposit checks electronically without leaving their place of business. Approximately 11,000 merchants are represented by the participating financials. The Remote Deposit Capture solution supports virtually any commercial entity that accepts checks as a form of payment, the company said.

Florida, California CULs Team Up

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–KNOWMORE, the educational department of the Florida CU League, said it is partnering with the California CU League to offer additional learning opportunities through eTrain, a series of educational web seminars. The 2008 program will consist of 26 web seminars starting in April. The cost of each connection for affiliated members is $169.

White Paper On Loyalty Released
