Southwest Corp Goes International
PLANO, Texas–Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union has launched low-cost international automated clearinghouse (ACH) capabilities to Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Southwest Corporate ACH originators now will have the ability to send electronic credits to Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom.
The new countries extend Southwest Corporate’s international ACH footprint, initiated with service to Mexico in 2006. International ACH payments are sent to the receiving country through exchange and conversion relationships established by the Federal Reserve Bank.

CUSN Offers ‘Opt Out’ Option
LAKEWOOD, Colo.–Credit Union Service Network has blocked third-party kiosk access for CUSN network participants.
New functionality was developed by CO-OP Shared Branching, CUSN’s shared branching national shared branching provider and partner, that allows state networks and credit unions to “opt out” of participation with third-party, non-credit union owned shared branching kiosks. What this means to CUSN credit unions is that all shared branching transactions at third-party kiosks will be blocked from CUSN credit union members. This block will not affect kiosks owned and operated by CUs.
