CO-OP FS Check Imaging Adds New Clients

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.-CO-OP Financial Services reported credit unions' adoption of its Check Imaging solutions is steadily climbing, as it gears up to add retail deposit and branch deposit to its check imaging suite.

CO-OP Fast Branch service, which provides credit union members with "do-it-yourself" shared branch kiosks, has added Anheuser-Busch Employees' CU in St. Louis; Delta Community CU in Atlanta, Ga.; First Financial Credit Union in Albuquerque, N.M.; NASA FCU in Bowie, Md.; and Red Rocks CU in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

New users of CO-OP Check Imaging ATM service, which allows members to scan and deposit checks without using deposits slips or envelopes, include Alliant CU in Chicago, Ill.; California Center CU in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; Provident CU in Redwood City, Calif.; Star One CU in Sunnyvale, Calif.; Antelope Valley FCU in Lancaster, Calif.; Rogue FCU in Medford, Ore.; and USA FCU, San Diego, Calif.

CO-OP My Deposit check imaging service for consumers has added Addison Avenue FCU in Palo Alto, Calif.; America First FCU in Ogden, Utah; California Center CU; Constellation FCU in Falls Church, Va.; Meadows CU in Arlington Heights, Ill.; Michigan First CU in Lathrup Village, Mich.; and Star One CU.

CUES Honors CU Members Mortgage

Fort Worth, Texas-The Credit Union Executives Society recently honored CU Members Mortgage with its Outstanding Supplier of the Year award.

CUES judged companies based on their contributions and achievements in the credit union industry, the benefits of their product or service to the movement and their role in the community.

CU Members Mortgage is partnered with almost 900 credit unions and offers conventional and FHA financing to members of those credit unions.

FSCC Reaches Out To CUs Affected By FIres

San Dimas, Calif.-Financial Service Centers Cooperative Inc., a credit union Shared Branching Network, is trying to raise the awareness level for credit unions to review their disaster recovery and business continuity plans in the wake of the recent fires in Southern California.

"With a significant number of credit union members residing in the impacted areas, FSCC is reaching out to those credit unions affected by the fires or have members that are affected," said Sarah Canepa Bang, FSCC CEO. "We have an emergency shared branching program in place and it is available to any credit union nationwide, including non-shared branching credit unions."

In additional news, Chaffey FCU has joined Financial Service Centers Cooperative Inc.'s shared branching network. Based in Ontarion, Calif, the CU will become an acquirer on the FSCC network allowing members of other CUs to conduct transactions at three of its branches

Members Save $20M In CU24's ATM Programs

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Credit Union 24's CU HERE surcharge-free ATM programs have saved credit union members more than $20 million in ATM surcharges in 2008.
