"Each quarter will see a new Marketing Planning Guide that will contain timely and appropriate promotions to help credit unions capture their members' attentions about their great products and services," said MMSS's Michelle Hoch said.

CFS Distributes $4M To CUs

SAN DIEGO-CUSO Financial Services, a full-service broker dealer and registered investment adviser, is distributing $4 million in retained earnings to its credit union limited partners, bringing the total distributions in 2008 to $8 million. CFS said it is advising the credit unions to reinvest the money into marketing, education and customer support within their investment programs. In other news, CFS said it is putting the finishing touches on Phase 2 of its version of an "economic stimulus program," to include discounted products, services and incentives.

eDOC Innovations Biz Up 33%

MIDWAY, Utah-eDOC Innovations (EDI), a CUSO providing e-document strategies, said it closed its 2008 fiscal year with year-over-year growth of 33%. The CUSO, which is owned by CU*Answers in Grand Rapids, Mich. and Corporate One FCU in Columbus, Ohio, serves some 400 CUs with its DocLogic solution, a complete "Go Paperless" platform.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-CUiNSIGHT.com has been launched to be "the one-stop source for all things credit unions," its sponsors said. It includes the Credit Union Information Exchange (CUIX), for peer-to-peer sharing of information. Web seminars and podcasts, are planned.

Transporation FCU, CRI Partner

WASHINGTON-Transportation FCU has has signed a multi-year agreement with CRI Solutions Inc. to continue to offer its credit insurance products to TFCU members. "CRI Solutions' product selection and training has enabled Transportation FCU to strengthen our sales team and extend in-demand services to our membership," said Amina O'Neill, VP-lending at TFCU.
