FSCC Recognizes Award Winners
LAS VEGAS-During its shareholders meeting here, Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. (FSCC) presented its Seventh Annual Globe Awards to credit unions and partners for Exceptional Service and Outstanding Performances in shared branching. Credit unions who received the Exceptional Performance Awards were honored for branch system availability and host system performance for processing transactions on the FSCC network switch. Among those honored:
* Patelco CU received an award for online availability of 100% processing of 1.9 million transactions at 45 branches, and for being the largest acquirer.
* Awards were also given to Chevron FCU, which received the award for the highest online approval; Water and Power Community CU for online availability for processing issuer transactions; TruWest CU for their low denial rate (0.05%) in processing issuer transactions on the network.
* In the Outstanding Performance Awards, the largest Issuer Award went to Digital CU for processing over 860,000 transactions. The Largest Single Outlet Award was presented to Northrop Grumman CU (Lancaster, Calif. branch) as it performed over 160,000 transactions. The award for the Largest Acquirer on U.S. Military Bases Award was presented to Service Credit Union.
Also recognized with the Outstanding Service Award was Total Member Care, operated by PSCU Financial Services for performing three-million shared branching transactions in 2008.

XCEL FCU Selects UNFCU-FA
SEACUCUS, N.J.-XCEL FCU will begin offering members investment, retirement, insurance and financial and tax planning services to members through UNFCU Financial Advisors, a CUSO of United Nations FCU. UNFCU FA reported it will also work with XCEL to expand its existing SEGs and promote new SEG development. CRI Expands Access To Gap
ATLANTA-Creditor Resources, Inc. has expanded its partnership with Frost Financial to bring Frost's VisualGAP streamlined sales platform to CRI's Gap products, which are underwritten by Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Co. "Through the technology of Frost's VisualGAP platform, credit unions are able to have more fee-income opportunities," the companies said. "This partnership reinforces CRI's and Frost's commitment to the credit union market."
