CreditPlus Enhances ASPECT

SALISBURY, Md.-Credit Plus Inc. said it has added enhancements to ASPECT, a website plug-in that provides private label credit reporting from a mortgage lender's website. The application allows a potential borrower to obtain a credit score analysis outlining the factors affecting the score. It also provides access to the credit score delivered in compliance with FACTA through a separate "Notice to Home Loan Applicant."

TRM Corp. To Offer Student Loans

CHERRY HILL, N.J.-TRM Corp., the copier provider-turned ATM company, said it is will now offer student loan service to CUs.

The new service, which will be headed by Ken Buren, the former president of Rutgers FCU, will be offered through the company's wholly owned subsidiary Access to Money-SL, Inc.

TRM, which once provided more than 6,000 ATMs to CO-OP Financial Services network, will electronically accept loan applications, gather financial information, deliver loan documents and certify loans with university financial aid offices allowing CUs and banks to deliver quick preliminary approvals of these student loan applications.

National Roll-Out Set For July

DALLAS-Southwest Corporate FCU said it has introduced an Image Deposit Return service in the Federal Reserve's 11th District and plans a nationwide roll-out in July.

The new service automates the process of handling returned items from member deposits - eliminating paper check delivery to the CU. Returns are sent directly to Southwest Corporate from its direct-exchange banks, image exchange networks and the Fed - reducing potential for losses by providing faster information delivery.

There are 259 credit unions in the Fed's 11th District - already processing or settling their share drafts and utilizing Southwest Corporate's deposit services - that will be eligible to begin the new service. The Fed's 11th District consists of areas including all of Texas, the northern portion of Louisiana and the southern portion of New Mexico.
