Online Consortium Aimed At Saving
SAN DIEGO–CUSO Financial Services, LP (CFS) launched a new online consortium program that provides low cost educational information and investment management tools to small and mid-sized credit unions via a web-based, do-it-yourself service. Seven Michigan CUs representing $211.8 million in assets and 37,000 members formed a partnership called CU Partner Solutions LLC to offer the service: Affinity Group CU, Clawson Community CU, Crestwood Community CU, Kensington Valley Community CU, ROME CU, Unity CU, and Birmingham-Bloomfield CU.
Participants can choose to offer the online-only investment program or they can share a CFS-trained, registered representative. CUSO Financial Services, LP is a provider of investment and insurance solutions to over 110 CU users.

MBS Is Now In The Black
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–Member Business Solutions LLC (MBS) has reached profitability within its targeted goal of three years. The CUSO, owned by Southeast Corporate and Georgia Central Credit Union, currently serves 45 credit union partners in 12 states. MBS has underwritten more than $350 million in CU business loans, according to Jim Gallagher, president of Member Business Solutions.

Auto Expert Earns Recognition
RIVERSIDE, Calif.–Auto Expert, an auto buying service and subsidiary company of Altura Credit Union, has been recognized by the California Council on Excellence with a Gold Level California Award for Performance Excellence. Auto Expert also received the Governor’s Award for Excellence, which has been awarded to only two other organizations in the last 13 years.
Auto Expert provides auto locating and auto buying services for members of 21 partner CUs in Southern California.
