CU Direct Pays Dividend To CUs
ONTARIO, Calif.-CU Direct Corporation, parent for CUDL, Lending Insights and Lending 360, has approved a 3% dividend on the current share price of $1,000, totaling $1.4 million, to its 91 member credit union shareholders for the 2010 calendar year. This is the sixth consecutive year the CUSO has paid dividends to its credit union shareholders.

Solution Has Saved Members $2.8M
LENEXA, Kan.-XtraCash, LLC, a CUSO offering a payday lending alternative, said its partner credit unions and their members saved more than $2.8 million between 2007 and year's end 2010. Since its March 2007 launch in two branches, XtraCash processed nearly 24,000 loans with a total loan value of more than $9.1 million.
