Numerica said 28% of its member base meet the age requirement of 62 and over for reverse mortgages, which is what spurred the CU to action.
"So many seniors today have difficulty paying for day-to-day living expenses due to inflation and reduction in retirement accounts," said Dennis Cutter, CEO. "A reverse mortgage is an excellent option for members to increase their monthly income and retire their monthly mortgage payments."
