Nutmeg State FCU Marks New Branch With Charity

GLASTONBURY, Conn. – Nutmeg State FCU said it donated $1,500 to two local charities to help celebrate the opening of its new branch here, the second facility opened this year.

The contributions went to the Glastonbury Education Foundation and the Glastonbury Food Bank.

The $312 million credit union, which reported net income of $1.4 million for the first three quarters, opened another branch in East Windsor in July. Nutmeg State was chartered in 1936 and was formerly known as the Hartford Telephone FCU.
