PARIS, France – Oberthur Technologies, the world’s biggest cards manufacturer, said American Express has signed a long-term licensing agreement that will allow it to produce transparent payment cards for other issuers.
AmEx owns several patents related to transparent cards. AmEx first issued a transparent card in 1999.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
