BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – OMNI CU purchased 500 backpacks and with the help of members, area residents, and employees all backpacks were filled them with school supplies for needy students.

The school supplies were then delivered to local school districts as part of the credit union’s annual Project Backpack. The school districts then distributed them to children in need.
"This project is just another way OMNI continues to fulfill its mission of People Helping People, and is the credit union's way of connecting with the communities we serve" said Ted Parsons, CEO of the $210 million credit union.
