Credit Union 24 said last week it has eliminated membership-fee minimums for its member-shareholders in conjunction with its new switch-processing agreement with Fifth Third Processing Solutions.
The credit union-owned network also expects increased savings for members in transaction processing and gateways as soon as members complete the transition to the new switch. The network also plans to introduce other new products and services based on the Fifth Third deal.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
