LOS ANGELES – Cloudworks has announced the launch of two new data centers in Arizona and Maryland, through its recent partnership with credit union-owned Ongoing Operations, that provide cloud-based IT solutions aimed at the financial services industry.
The Arizona data center already is online, and the Maryland center will launch in the second quarter.
Ongoing Operations, a Maryland CUSO, has contracted with Cloudworks to provide virtual desktops and hosted Microsoft Exchange services to credit unions. The partnership provides credit unions a new suite of IT offerings the company said are designed to reduce total ownership costs, offer built-in back-up, and shift large capital expenditures to predictable monthly service fees.
