Open Solutions Acquires Financial Accounting<@SM>Products

- GLASTONBURY, Ct. (04/24/02) - Open Solutions Inc.,said it has acquired the financial accounting product line from HNCSoftware Inc., of San Diego. The line of products, formerly knownas Financial Technology Inc., includes general ledger, accountpayable, fixed assets, investments, and EIS, as well as HNC's assetliability product line. Open Solutions will market and manage theseproducts and support all existing customers under a newly formedbusiness unit, called OSI Financial Technologies. Terms of the dealwere not disclosed.
