POCATELLO, Idaho Kent Oram, CEO of Idaho Central Credit Union, has been named the 2013 CUES Outstanding Chief Executive.
Under Oram’s leadership, ICCU has become one of the fastest growing credit unions in the country. It saw a 122.11% overall increase in assets from Oram’s start in September 2007 to the end of April, 2013. ICCU has continued to grow loans and deposits, while keeping delinquency low, CUES said.
CUES said Oram also has placed an emphasis on making ICCU an employer of choice, improving the workplace culture and environment. Due to his efforts, ICCU was named a Best Place to Work in Idaho in 2012, and won first place for the award in 2013.
Oram will be honored at CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network on Nov. 3 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. CUES also will honor CUES Hall of Fame inductee Lary B. McCants, CCD, CCE, president/CEO, IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union, Boca Raton, Fla., and longtime CUES board member.
