EUGENE, Ore. Oregon Community CU has installed CO-Financial Service’s and Diebold’s NextGen ATMs which the companies said combine the functionality of a deposit-taking ATM and a shared branch at its new Salem branch.
The $1.2-billion credit union said it also is enhancing teller efficiency at the branch with a Diebold Opteva 228 Express Cash Recycler.
"We expect to transition more of our traditional teller line traffic, as well as shared branching traffic, to the ATM, giving our staff more opportunities to strengthen member relationships during more complex, teller-assisted transactions,” said Darrell Stark, chief retail officer for the credit union.
Diebold said it is supporting Oregon Community’s new ATMs through multiple integrated services, including maintaining up-to-date security patches, and anti-virus and operating system software on the terminals.
