HARRISBURG, Penn. – Ten credit unions and banks have agreed to offer help to the state’s 69,000 public employees who paychecks may be delayed by an ongoing budget impasse.
The institutions have agreed to offer a variety of low-interest loans and lines of credit, Gov. Edward Rendell announced yesterday.
The participating credit unions are Pennsylvania State Employees CU, AmeriChoice FCU, Members 1st FCU and Oil Country FCU.
