Pennsylvania’s Century Heritage FCU Gets Broad New Charter

PITTSBURGH – NCUA said Friday it has approved the expansion of Century Heritage FCU to cover all of Allegheny County, Penn., and its 1.3 million residents, in one of the biggest field of membership expansions this year.

The $125 million credit union was chartered in 1935 by 40 employees of the Duquesne Works Mill of U.S. Steel Co. who pooled a total of $240.
